Prof. Marco Cune is a Professor of Restorative and Reconstructive Dentistry at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), affiliated with the Faculty of Medical Sciences. He leads the Restorative Dentistry section and holds clinical roles at St. Antonius Hospital and Tandartspraktijk Schiermonnikoog. His expertise spans fixed/removable prosthodontics, oral implants, and dental biomaterials. He has authored/co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles and holds the NVGPT Publicatieprijs 2017. His research focuses on implant dentistry, prosthetic rehabilitation, and material durability. He advises on dental guidelines (KIMO) and serves as an International Ambassador for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
