Marco Albertini

Marco Albertini is Full Professor of Sociology at the University of Bologna's Department of Political and Social Sciences. His research examines intergenerational relationships, economic disparities, and aging societies. He serves as Principal Investigator for the 'Care Sustainability in Ageing Societies' project under the Age.It initiative.

Professor Albertini holds a PhD from the European University Institute and has held visiting positions internationally. He has consulted for the World Bank on aging policy in Europe and Central Asia.
