Marcin Wodzinski is a full Professor in Jewish Studies at the University of Wrocław, Poland, since 2003 (associate professor from 2006–2010). He is a leading scholar in the social history of East European Jews, specializing in Hasidism, Jewish Enlightenment, and historical geography. His work bridges traditional historical research with digital humanities, exemplified by his Historical Atlas of Hasidism (2018), which received international acclaim including the National Jewish Book Award.
