Marc Kramer is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director for the BSc Economics & Business Economics (E&BE) program at the University of Groningen. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business, specifically the Department of Economics, Econometrics & Finance.
- Education: PhD in Finance (2012), Business Economics (RUG, 1996), and CFA/RBA (VU Amsterdam, postgraduate).
- Teaching: Courses in Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, and Finance for Real Estate.
His research focuses on individual investor behavior, behavioral finance, and the impact of financial advice on portfolio performance. Recent studies include pension dashboards and financial literacy. He received the Lecturer of the Year award for both the faculty (2018) and university (2019) levels. Current projects include thesis intensification and faculty governance roles.
