Bert Kramer is a Lecturer at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Economics and Business, specializing in climate change's economic and financial impacts. He concurrently serves as Head of Climate Research at Ortec Finance, leading teams analyzing climate risks for institutional investors. He holds a cum laude PhD in Business and a Master's in Econometrics from the University of Groningen.
His research focuses on quantifying climate change effects on financial systems, aligning portfolios with the Paris Agreement, and asset-liability management for insurers and pension funds.
