Marc Edelman is a tenured Professor of Law at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (City University of New York), Director of Sports Ethics at the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity, and longstanding Professor of Law & Professional Sports at Fordham Law School. His roles span academic leadership, legal analysis, and policy advocacy in sports-related legal domains.
His research focuses on antitrust applications to professional and college sports, gaming regulations for fantasy sports, and labor rights in athletics. He has authored over 75 law journal articles and presented at 200+ conferences, frequently cited by courts and media on issues like NCAA antitrust litigation and athlete compensation.
Awarded the Fulbright U.S. Scholar distinction, his policy contributions include testimony before California's legislature on the Fair Pay to Play Act (2019) and advisory roles in landmark antitrust litigation Ohio v. NCAA (2023), advancing athlete rights and market competition.
