Marc Boone is a Full Professor (Ordinarius) at Ghent University since 2010, specializing in Urban History, Medieval History, and the Low Countries under Burgundian domination. Elected to the History & Archaeology section of the Academy of Europe in 2007, he is internationally recognized for his interdisciplinary research bridging political, institutional, social, and economic history.
