María Jerónima Ferrer Ribot

María Jerónima Ferrer Ribot serves as a Professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), actively teaching in Early Childhood Education degree programs where she leads the Family and School subject and coordinates Practicum activities. She is a member of the Academic Committee and professor for UIB's Official Master's Degree in Early Childhood: Perspectives and Lines of Intervention.

She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of the Balearic Islands.

Her research centers on early childhood education with emphases on parenting support program design, implementation, and evaluation; educational innovation; and evidence-based teaching practices. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary research through multiple institutional groups including GREDIN, GIPI, GITED, and GREID, focusing on developmental psychology, family-school collaboration, and inclusive educational frameworks.

Dr. Ferrer Ribot maintains an extensive teaching portfolio across undergraduate and graduate programs, consistently instructing core courses such as Family and School, Educational Models in Early Childhood, Practicum I (0-3), Practicum II (3-6), and Final Degree Projects while mentoring students through structured tutoring appointments.
