Prof. Dr. Manuela Bojadžijev is W3 Professor for 'Culture and Lifestyles in the Immigration Society' at Humboldt University Berlin. She heads the Department of Integration, Social Networks and Cultural Lifestyles at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM).
Her research examines globalized and digital cultures, migration in global perspective, racism in urban contexts, and the interplay between digitalization and labor. Current projects explore transforming solidarities in migration societies, platform labor in urban spaces, and cultures of rejection in socio-spatial environments.
Education includes a PhD based at the Institute for Social Research Frankfurt. She previously held positions at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Goldsmiths, and University of London.
