Manuel FERNANDEZ

Manuel Fernandez is an Associate Professor of Finance at EM Normandie since 2025. He holds a PhD in Commerce from the University of Kerala (2001), focusing on cashew industry management. His professional certifications include CMA and CSCA. Previously, he held academic roles at institutions like Institute of Management Technology-Dubai and Skyline University College in the UAE.

His research interests span Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), economic analysis, finance, and accounting. His work emphasizes FDI destinations in GCC countries, corporate finance strategies, and sustainability initiatives in emerging markets. He has authored over 60 publications across academic journals and conferences, including studies on FDI in India, Vietnam, and Jordan.

He has presented at international conferences such as the International Conference on Management, Economics & Social Science (ICMESS) and the SGBED International Research Symposium. His case studies include analyses of RAK Ceramics and Dubai Stock Exchange margin trading.
