Prof. Dr. Manuel Baumbach is a Professor of Classical Philology at Ruhr University Bochum, affiliated with the Faculty of Philology. His academic role includes chairing the Department of Classical Philology and leading research in Greek Studies. His research focuses on Hellenistic poetry, Greek novels, epigrams, and the Second Sophistic, particularly the works of Lucian.
