Manling Luo is an Associate Professor at Indiana University's Hamilton Lugar School, specializing in East Asian Languages and Cultures. Her research focuses on pre-modern Chinese narratives, literati culture, and gender studies in traditional literature.
She earned her Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005. Her teaching portfolio includes courses on Literary Chinese, traditional women writers, and supernatural themes in Chinese culture.
