Dr. Manjula Dissanayake is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Head of Learning & Teaching at the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide. He serves as Academic Director of ThincLab & Entrepreneurship Programs and is affiliated with the Yunus Centre for Sustainability and Social Impact.
- Current Roles: Associate Head of Learning & Teaching, Academic Director – ThincLab & Entrepreneurship Programs
- Prior Experience: Facilitator at MIT’s Accelerating Information Technology Initiative (AITI), co-founder of Silicon Valley tech startups (including one acquired by Symbol Technologies/Motorola)
His research focuses on entrepreneurial learning and business model innovation, with a technology-centric approach to personalized education. He has designed programs like eChallenge (South Australia’s longest-running pre-accelerator) and Business Model Innovation for business leaders, and holds over 10 US patents in technology.
He supervises Masters and PhD students as a Co-Supervisor and collaborates with teams across innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
