Manisha Varahagiri is Assistant Professor of Instruction in Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, M.S. from Tennessee Tech University, and B.S. from Utkal University.
Varahagiri's research explores number theory, p-adic analysis, and representation theory. Her published work examines algebraic structures in Clifford algebras and group representations. She mentors undergraduate research projects connecting mathematics to engineering and biochemistry applications.
As Program Coordinator and Make-up Exam Coordinator, Varahagiri contributes to departmental administration. She received teaching awards including the Olmsted Award for Teaching Excellence and serves on the Public Relations and Awards Committee.
