Maneesha Sakhuja

Maneesha Sakhuja serves as a Hecht-Levi Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, with prior clinical training at Children's National Hospital and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Her educational background includes:

• Undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University
• Master of Health Science (MHS) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Prior to medical school, she worked on the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues under President Obama's Administration.

Dr. Sakhuja's research focuses on the intersection of pediatric medicine, health policy, and equity. Her residency work centered on bioethics education for trainees and eliminating language-based disparities in pediatric care, reflecting her commitment to systemic healthcare reform through ethical frameworks and policy interventions.
