Manaf MANAFLI

Manaf MANAFLI is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Mathematics at Adıyaman University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He has held this position since 2011 after serving as an Associate Professor at the same institution since 2008. Previously, he worked at Gaziantep University (2004-2007) and spent nearly two decades at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences.

Professor MANAFLI specializes in the spectral properties of differential and difference operators with generalized function coefficients. His research focuses on Sturm-Liouville equations with delta and delta-prime interactions, inverse spectral problems, and the analysis of operators with singular potentials. His work bridges pure mathematics with applications in mathematical physics, particularly in understanding quantum systems with point interactions.

His extensive publication record demonstrates a consistent focus on spectral theory and inverse problems for differential operators with singular potentials. Over the past decade, his research has increasingly addressed energy-dependent Sturm-Liouville equations and discrete analogues of continuous problems, reflecting a trend toward more complex operator structures and their spectral properties.

Professor MANAFLI has received recognition including the title of Chief Scientific Expert from the High Attestation Commission of the Presidency of Azerbaijan (1994). His editorial work includes serving as editor for Fundamentals of Contemporary Mathematical Sciences and Adıyaman University Journal of Sciences.

As Department Head since 2011 and Dean since 2019, Professor MANAFLI has supervised numerous graduate students and led research projects including "Spectral Problems for Integro-Differential Equations with Delta Interactions on Finite Ranges" (2017) and "Investigation of Spectral Properties of Differential and Difference Operators with Generalized Function Coefficients" (2009-2011).

He actively contributes to the mathematical community through editorial work and as a reviewer for multiple international journals including Transactions of NAS of Azerbaijan, Filomat, and Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization.
