Mamta Pansuria

Mamta Pansuria is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy, Nova Southeastern University. With over 20 years of community pharmacy experience, she joined NSU-COP in July 2019 and focuses on teaching first-year pharmacy students through courses like Pharmacy Skills Development I Lab and Nonprescription Drugs and Self-Care, while also delivering didactic lectures to second- and third-year students.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (1998) from Florida Atlantic University, Pharm.D. (2003) from Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy.

Her research interests center on community pharmacy practice, including:

• Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Transitions of Care (TOC)
• Nonprescription drugs and self-care protocols
• Chronic disease management (hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes)
• Innovative pharmacy initiatives like Test and Treat, collaborative practice, and vaccine administration

She has been recognized for her teaching excellence with the 2022 Golden Apple Award and serves as Chair for the College of Pharmacy Admissions Committee.
