Jaime W. Riskin

Jaime W. Riskin is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Patient Care Management Laboratories at Nova Southeastern University's Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy (NSU-COP), Department of Pharmacy Practice. She earned her B.S. in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Psychology) from the University of Florida (1998) and her Pharm.D. from NSU-COP (2003), followed by a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Baptist Hospital of Miami (2004) and Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (2008).

• Prior Roles: Central Charge Pharmacist at Shands Jacksonville (2004-2005), Pharmacy Clinical Operations Manager at Bethesda Memorial Hospital (until 2011)

As a Laboratory Director, she oversees pharmacy practice laboratory courses, coordinates second/third-year labs, and leads the longitudinal innovation project PharmaCon alongside the Pharmacy Seminar course. Her clinical expertise spans Internal Medicine, Drug Information, Medication Safety, and Transitional Care rotations.

Dr. Riskin actively participates in college committees (Assessment, Curriculum, Teaching Certificate, APPE Readiness) and professional organizations (AACP, ASHP, FSHP Southeast Chapter). She co-advises the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists and directs the ITALICSRx Teaching and Learning Certificate Program.
