Brian M. Hierholzer

Dr. Brian M. Hierholzer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy, Nova Southeastern University. He is a certified pharmacist with expertise in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, and disaster management, and has implemented advanced pharmacy services in emergency and trauma care settings.

Dr. Hierholzer’s research focuses on medication non-compliance in emergency rooms, cost analysis of ER visits, and innovative medication delivery systems. He has pioneered 24/7 pharmacy coverage in emergency departments and integrated pharmacists into ACLS events and Level One Trauma services.
