Malliga Marimuthu is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University, Australia. She holds a PhD from the University of Newcastle (2008) and has held prior academic positions including Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia (2015–2016) and Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University (2014). Her research focuses on sustainable consumption, consumer behavior change, and smart city applications, with a commitment to societal well-being through responsible marketing practices.
