Professor Malcolm MacLeod is a Professor of Neurology and Translational Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh, serving as Co-Director of the Edinburgh Neuroscience Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences. He leads the Edinburgh CAMARADES group, which focuses on improving research rigor through systematic reviews and meta-analyses of animal studies. His work addresses bias in preclinical research and guides human clinical trial design.
