Malcolm Longair

Malcolm Longair is a Professor at the University of Cambridge's Cavendish Laboratory. He has held prestigious roles including Head of the Cavendish Laboratory (1997-2005), Astronomer Royal for Scotland (1980-1990), and Director of the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh. His expertise spans high energy astrophysics and astrophysical cosmology.
