Dr. Maksym Koghut is a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. He holds a PhD in Management from University of Kent, BA in Business Information Management from University of Huddersfield, BA in Financial Management from Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Cherkassy Engineering and Technological Institute.
His research examines how emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence transform organizational management, focusing on social implications and innovation processes. Recent publications investigate blockchain's impact on inter-organizational trust, consumer behavior in mobile payments, and decentralized collaboration models. Koghut teaches modules on Industry 4.0, Blockchain in Industry, Digital Technology in Business & Society, and Digital Leadership Transformation.
With over 10 years of managerial experience across manufacturing, services, transport and IT sectors, Koghut brings practical industry perspective to his academic work. He supervises student projects in blockchain, AI, and digital business transformation.
