Maiya Furgason

Maiya Furgason is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Management and Leadership at Monmouth University. She previously served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University for 23 years and taught MBA classes in International Business, Management, Leadership, and Russia/China Economic Growth and Development at St. Peters University.

Her research and teaching focus on international business, economic development, and leadership. With 39 years of experience in Wealth Management and International Divisions on Wall Street, she has conducted global consulting projects for multinationals, NGOs, and governments through Global Development Advisors. She has also participated as a speaker at the New Jersey Governor’s Business Symposium on Work Force Development.
