Dr. Mahendran Sekar is an Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy at Monash University Malaysia, specializing in natural products drug discovery and development. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, India, and has over 15 years of academic and research experience. His work focuses on phytochemical extraction, characterization of medicinal plants, formulation of drug delivery systems, and green technology applications in pharmaceuticals.

Labs/Teams: Leads a research team exploring natural product-derived therapies, collaboration with institutions like Manipal Academy of Higher Education (India) and JSS Academy (Mauritius).
