Dr. Priyanka Bhatt is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wegmans School of Pharmacy, St. John Fisher University, where she has been employed since 2021. She holds a B.Pharm. from Gujarat University, an M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics (New Drug Delivery Systems) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the same institution. She completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of South Florida.
Her research specializes in developing advanced drug delivery systems for oncology and ophthalmology, with expertise in lipid/polymer-based nanoparticles and thermoreversible gels. She has published extensively on targeted therapies for ovarian cancer, macular degeneration, and obesity.
Dr. Bhatt teaches multiple courses including Pharmaceutics I/II, Pharmacy Calculations, Compounding, and Drug Delivery electives. She leads research projects funded by grants such as the Florida High-Tech Corridor Matching Grant and holds a US patent for nanoparticle therapies.
