Mahakim Newton

Dr. Mahakim Newton is a Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Griffith University’s Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems. He holds a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, alongside degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His research focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, and computer education, with notable contributions to protein structure prediction and IoT interoperability.
