Maggie Laufenberg

Maggie Laufenberg is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director in the Physician Assistant program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She teaches Neuroanatomy, Clinical Neuroscience, Medical Pharmacology I and II, Clinical Practice Skills, Dermatology, and Hematology.

Her research interests center on medical education and clinical neuroscience applications. She is recognized for innovative teaching methods, incorporating interdisciplinary collaboration and student-centered approaches.

She received the 2022 Eagle Teaching Excellence Award for shaping student and patient outcomes. Her instructional focus includes first-generation student support and active learning frameworks.
