Research Interests: Dr. Peyrefitte's work bridges urban sociology and criminology to examine social harm and social justice in metropolitan contexts. Her research investigates gentrification and regeneration dynamics in London (Soho and suburban boroughs of Barnet, Harrow, Brent), housing transformations, and community impacts. She pioneers visual and creative methodologies including photographic exhibitions to disseminate findings to diverse audiences, while critically analyzing Social Value frameworks and VCSE sector roles in urban development.
Publication Trends: Her 2019-2023 publications reveal a dual focus on methodological innovation (walking labs, visual sociology) and critical urban studies examining neoliberalism's impact on education and city spaces. Frequent collaborations explore gender, migration, and social justice through interdisciplinary lenses, often employing creative research dissemination strategies.
