Madelyne Bisby is a Macquarie University Research Fellow (MQRF) and Clinical Psychologist at the eCentreClinic, specializing in digital psychological treatments. She holds an Academic Casual position within the School of Psychological Sciences and is affiliated with the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre. Her research focuses on three core areas: improving measurement of psychological distress, understanding treatment efficacy mechanisms, and developing ultra-brief interventions. She leads the MQ FMHHS early career researcher network (EnCouRage), advocating for early-career researchers.
Education: PhD (Psychology, UNSW Sydney, 2016–2020), Master of Psychology (Clinical, UNSW Sydney, 2016–2020), and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours, UNSW Sydney, 2012–2015).
Research Interests: Digital mental health interventions, chronic health conditions, and treatment personalization. Her work emphasizes internet-delivered therapies for anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Projects:
- The Perinatal Course: Online treatment for perinatal depression/anxiety (2023–2025).
- ALIVE: Addressing health literacy barriers in digital mental health (2024–2025).
