Andreea Heriseanu is a Research Fellow and Clinical Psychologist at the eCentreClinic, Macquarie University, specializing in digital mental health. She holds a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology and PhD from the University of Sydney (2013–2020), with a focus on eating behaviors and executive functioning in higher weight populations. Her research interests intersect mental and physical health, emphasizing interventions for chronic conditions, behavioral precision, cognition in health contexts, and environmental influences on behavior.
She teaches in Master's programs at Western Sydney University, including roles as Lecturer (School of Psychology) and Clinical Lecturer (School of Medicine). Her work spans clinical supervision at MindSpot Clinic and contributions to projects like the 'Caregiver experiences with feeding issues in dementia' (2025–2026). She actively publishes on topics such as internet-delivered interventions, chronic pain management, and grazing behavior epidemiology, with over 35 peer-reviewed articles and collaborations across Australia and internationally.
