Colette Hirsch is a Professor of Cognitive Clinical Psychology and Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). She leads the Generalised Anxiety Disorder Service at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT) within the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Her work bridges clinical practice and translational research, focusing on cognitive processes underlying anxiety and depression.

Research Interests: Cognitive processes (e.g., attentional control, interpretation bias, imagery) in anxiety and depression; transdiagnostic mechanisms; digital therapeutics; resilience in caregivers, teachers, and cancer survivors. She develops interventions targeting repetitive negative thinking (RNT), including web-based programs like LENS and RELAX.
