Dr. Madeleine Hunter is a Vice Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellow at RMIT University’s School of Media & Communication, located at the City Campus in Australia. Her research focuses on adaptation studies, children’s literature, and popular culture, with particular attention to narrative techniques, intergenerational dynamics, and media representation. She explores themes such as childhood in media, transmedia storytelling, and the intersection of digital platforms with traditional storytelling formats.
Her academic contributions span journal articles and book chapters analyzing works like Lemony Snicket’s *A Series of Unfortunate Events*, Disney adaptations, and *The Lego Movie*.
