Huan Wang is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on development economics, health economics, and behavioral economics, with a particular emphasis on understanding individuals' decision-making in low- and middle-income countries. Key research themes include constraints to health-seeking behaviors and the role of religion in behaviors and wellbeing.
He has extensive teaching experience in economics and econometrics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including courses in introductory micro/macroeconomics, data analytics, and econometrics. Before joining RMIT, he taught at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Business and Economics and Melbourne Business School.
He is open to supervising Master's and PhD students in research areas aligned with his interests. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, notably addressing poverty, health, and inequality.
