Madeline E. Heilman is a Professor of Psychology at New York University, specializing in applied social psychology and gender psychology. She holds an Anna Boyksen Fellowship at the Technical University of Munich (TUM-IAS), hosted by Prof. Isabell M. Welpe, focusing on 'Gender Stereotypes in Organizations.' Her research examines gender bias in work settings, particularly how stereotypes about women's competence and communality influence evaluations and career trajectories. She has served on editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology and Academy of Management Review.
