Madeleine Davis is a Reader in Politics at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with the School of Politics and International Relations. She holds degrees from the University of London (BA, MA, PhD) and joined Queen Mary in 2000. Her research focuses on the history of the British left, particularly the post-1956 New Left, socialist political thought, and the intersection of Marxist theory with grassroots activism. She has led projects funded by the Amiel-Melburn Trust, including digitizing radical periodicals like Black Dwarf and organizing exhibitions on New Left activism.
