Dr. Madeleine Davies is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Literature at the University of Reading. She holds a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and leads initiatives in pedagogical innovation, including the 'Diversifying Assessments' project and the 'Resilience Masterclass' series. She co-convened the 'Postmodernist Biofictions' conference (2017) and the International Virginia Woolf Conference (2017). Her research focuses on Margaret Atwood, Virginia Woolf, and feminist theory, with publications on postmodernist biofiction and contemporary drama. She has received awards for collaborative teaching excellence and inclusive pedagogy, including a 2018 University Award for outstanding collaboration in Teaching & Learning.
