معرفی
Madalin Parepa is a Lecturer and Scientist at the Plant Evolutionary Ecology group, Institute of Evolution & Ecology, University of Tübingen. His research focuses on ecological and evolutionary processes driving biological invasions, using experiments to study plant-plant interactions and plant-trophic level dynamics under climate change.
- PhD (2012), University of Bern, Switzerland
- MSc/BSc (2006), University "Al. I Cuza" Iasi, Romania
Research interests include invasion ecology, epigenetics in plant invasion, microbiome-plant interactions, and functional traits in invasive species. Recent work examines genomic/epigenomic drivers of invasion success and climate variability impacts on plant interactions.
Key projects include DFG-funded studies on environmental variability effects on invasion, DAAD/BMBF genomics research, and SPP 2125 grants on microbiome dynamics. Collaborations span Switzerland, Germany, and international networks.
Labs/Teams: Affiliated with the Plant Evolutionary Ecology group at the University of Tübingen, contributing to the Global Garlic Mustard Field Survey (GGMFS) and BiodivERsA-funded initiatives.
