Maaike Snelder

Maaike Snelder is an Associate Professor at Delft University of Technology's Department of Transport, Mobility and Logistics within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. She holds a Master's degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam (2003) and maintains an external position as Principal Scientist at TNO.

Her research focuses on sustainable transportation systems, including multimodal mobility modeling, urban mobility hubs optimization, and low-carbon urban design. She has pioneered work on digital twins for urban accessibility analysis and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) implementation.
