Dr. MO Yin is a Senior Lecturer (Joint) at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). She is affiliated with the National University Hospital (NUH) Division of Infectious Disease, Department of Medicine, and the Mahidol-Oxford Research Unit at the University of Oxford. Her career spans clinical research, medical education, and hospital administration, with a focus on translational research to influence health policies.
Dr. Yin holds a DPhil in Clinical Medicine (University of Oxford, 2022), Master of Clinical Investigation (NUS, 2017), and American Board of Internal Medicine Certification (2013). She has been a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at NUH since 2019 and has held academic roles at NUS since 2017.
Her research interests include Antimicrobial Resistance, Emerging Infectious Diseases, and Mathematical Modelling applied to public health. She actively contributes to clinical medicine and microbiology education.
Her publications span molecular pathology of tumors, including sarcomas, vascular anomalies, and Epstein-Barr virus-associated tumors. Recent work emphasizes genetic profiling of pediatric cancers and diagnostic challenges in cytology.
