Dr. Mehmet Yaşar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences within the Faculty of Education at Gaziantep University. He has been actively involved in academic activities since the 1980s, with a focus on educational leadership, teacher development, and organizational behavior in educational institutions.
His research interests include:
- Educational Leadership and Management
- Social Capital and Organizational Citizenship Behavior
- Digital Leadership and Modern Teaching Technologies
- Teacher Burnout and Psychological Capital
- Time Management and Governance in Education
Over his career, he has supervised multiple graduate theses, particularly on topics related to school leadership, teacher performance, and socio-cultural factors in education. His recent doctoral advisees include Pelin Ozer (2025) and Zeliha Sericik (2024), while master's students like Hasan Kaplan (2024) and Tugba Demir (2023) have explored areas such as school culture and self-leadership in teaching.
