MARIA RERAKI is a Senior Lecturer in Early Years Education with a focus on inclusive practices for learners with dyslexia, ADHD, and special educational needs. Holding a PhD from the University of Manchester and an MA from the University of Edinburgh, her research explores pedagogical strategies in EFL settings and social-emotional wellbeing. She currently serves as an External Examiner at Coventry University (MSc Psychology, MSc Applied Psychology) and the University of South Wales (MA SEN/ALN).

Her recent work includes a 2023-2025 project developing assessment models for special educational needs and a comparative analysis of inclusive practices in Spain and England. She has published widely on ADHD interventions in Algeria and dyslexia-friendly pedagogy across multiple contexts.
