MARIA FELICIDAD BOGALO ROMAN

MARIA FELICIDAD BOGALO ROMAN is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Burgos, affiliated with the College of Engineering. Her research focuses on paleomagnetism, geophysics, and environmental science, with particular attention to paleoenvironmental implications of magnetic properties in Plio-Pleistocene soils and Quaternary river terraces.

She earned her PhD from Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a thesis titled Propiedades magnéticas de suelos de los piedemonte plio-pleistocenos y de las terrazas fluviales cuaternarias del centro de la Península Ibérica implicaciones paleoambientales (2003). Her work is associated with the Consolidated Research Unit 165 and the PALEOMAG-UBU Paleomagnetism research group.

Her research contributes to understanding geological and climatic changes in the Iberian Peninsula through magnetic analysis of sediments and geomorphological features.
