M. Wright is an Associate Professor in Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University, specializing in typography, publication design, exhibition design, and feminist/queer histories. She co-founded the art and design collective AK/OK with Kate Jarboe, whose work has been exhibited globally and distributed by Printed Matter (NYC).

Her research explores intersections of design, archives, and participatory creation, with recognition from Type Directors Club, Print magazine, and AIGA 50 Books/50 Covers.
