M. Shariful Islam

Dr. M. Shariful Islam is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at South Carolina State University (SCSU), specializing in Structural Materials. He joined SCSU on January 1^st, 2025, after serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Tennessee Tech University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2024) and as a Senior Lecturer at World University of Bangladesh (2015-2018).

Advising & Grants
Dr. Islam has supervised both undergraduate and graduate students, and secured external funding for research projects focused on sustainable concrete materials and CO₂ emission reduction.
