M. Brett Cooper

Dr. M. Brett Cooper is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center and an Adolescent Medicine physician at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where he has served since 2018.

His clinical focus includes LGBTQ health, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and male health, while his academic work emphasizes curriculum development and trainee education in LGBTQ health. Dr. Cooper co-chairs the LGBT Special Interest Group for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and contributed to its Position Paper on HIV PrEP.
