Lyrric Cosby Jackson is a Lecturer in the Department of Dance Performance and Choreography at Spelman College since 2019. She specializes in interdisciplinary dance choreography and sustainable performance design.
- Education: B.A. in Drama (Dance Concentration) from Spelman College (2013), M.F.A. and M.A. from Savannah College of Art & Design.
Research interests include interdisciplinary dance choreography, focusing on innovative integration of dance with other artistic disciplines, and sustainable performance wear design and textile manufacturing, emphasizing eco-friendly materials and production methods in dance costumes. She teaches Beginning Contemporary Modern courses.
Additional roles: Arts Education Coordinator at Fulton County Southwest Arts Center, company member of Okwae A. Miller & Artists and Axam Dance Theatre Experience.
