Her research focuses on preventing substance use, mental ill-health, and related risk behaviors among adolescents, particularly through eHealth interventions targeting diet, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping. She coordinates the OurFutures Vaping program randomised controlled trial in 12 NSW Government Schools.
The articles reveal a consistent focus on school-based preventive interventions for adolescents. Key themes include socioeconomic and geographical disparities, digital health implementation, mental health correlates of vaping, and cultural adaptation of programs. Sub-fields span participatory design, trauma-informed approaches, and proportionate universalism in health promotion.
While no formal awards are listed, her work involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams at the Matilda Centre, including co-authorships with experts in public health, psychiatry, and medicine. Current projects emphasize translating research into scalable school programs to address adolescent health inequities.
