Lynton Talbot is a Senior Lecturer in BA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. He is an independent curator and founder-director of parrhesiades, a platform for artists engaging with language. His roles include Artistic Co-Director of the Balkan Triennial 2025 and member of OFFSHORE, a performance collective. He has curated major exhibitions globally, including at The South London Gallery and Lisson Gallery.
Research interests focus on language as artistic material, informed by his Romani heritage and para-languaging as resistance. He contributes to academic committees at the Royal Academy of Arts and chairs The Chelsea Arts Club Trust. Prior roles include teaching at Goldsmiths University, Royal College of Art, and Tate Modern collaborations. His 2020 anthology Intertitles highlights his exploration of writing and visual art intersections.
Affiliations include steering committees at UAL and international institutional partnerships. His curatorial projects emphasize interdisciplinary practices and socio-political themes, shaping contemporary art discourse through exhibitions and academic engagement.
