Lynne Giles

Associate Professor Lynne Giles is affiliated with the School of Public Health at the University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She holds academic positions in Biostatistics and teaches courses such as 'Introduction to Biostatistics' and 'Biostatistics' in the Master of Public Health program. Her research focuses on applying statistical methods to life course data, particularly analyzing cohort studies like the Australian Longitudinal Study of Ageing. Key interests include early life influences on later health outcomes, childhood growth patterns, and the effects of obesity on vaccine efficacy.

Dr. Giles earned a BSc(Hons) in Mathematical Statistics, an MPH, a PhD in Applied Statistics, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
